Sacrament of Confirmation 2025
Confirmation is one of the Sacraments of Initiation, enhancing and deepening the life we began through Baptism.
Receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation fortifies the Christian’s relationship with God. It strengthens the Gifts of the Holy Spirit: wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord. This enables Christians to be more effective witnesses to Christ in the world.
The Catholic Parish of New Plymouth offers an engaging and spirited confirmation program every year in term 2. The program includes seven sessions and a weekend confirmation camp. Attendance is crucial, so please ensure you participate in all sessions and the camp.
We are excited to announce that the Confirmation Programme for 2025 will take place in term 2 (from 28 April 2025 to 15 June 2025).
Registration will open in term 1 of 2025.
